Genetic and epigenetic mechanisms of placental development;
Pseudomalignant properties of the developing placenta;
Functional role of EGFR splice variants during normal developmental processes and in the molecular basis of tumorigenesis, with emphasis on women's cancer.
System biology of EGF- and EGFR family signaling network and the contribution of alternative splicing and post-translation modifications to the complexity of the network.
