Women of INfluence

Women of INfluence provides an avenue by which Indiana women leaders are educated about critical women’s health issues and given a charge to raise awareness, educate and advocate for women’s health in their own spheres of influence.  We invite you to join us and others who will share their knowledge, research, stories and plans for women’s health in Indiana. Complimentary food and beverages will be provided.

The IU National Center of Excellence (IU NCOE) held their annual Women of INfluence – Symposium on September 10, 2014 at the Ivy Tech Conference Center in Indianapolis.  This event would not be possible, if the Women of INfluence Coalition of Marion County did not have a group of women committed to its success and the support of our generous supporters: ACOG, Indianapolis Healthy Start, American Cancer Society, and the American Heart Association.

Over 100 Women were in attendance to discuss Understanding Indiana Insurance, Hypertension & Stress in Women; The Worn Out Woman; and Sexual Health Across the Lifespan.

IU NCOE honored Virginia A. Caine, MD, Director for the Marion County Health Department with the Women of INfluence Trailblazer Award.
